St Bonaventure Lecture
The 2020 St Bonaventure Lecture will be held on Tuesday 28 July, 6.30 pm at Padua College (COVID-19 Regulations permitting) followed by a light supper. The venue will be confirmed prior to the date based on registration numbers and COVID-19 Regulations.
The title of this year’s Lecture is ‘Reform, Renewal and Resistance – 50 Years of Reflection’. This year’s Lecture will be presented by Fr John Boyd-Boland OFM, former Rector and current Chaplain of Padua College. He will reflect on his 50 years as a friar and priest. Fr John will examine the legacy of the Second Vatican Council and the consequences it has had for a church looking to find itself in the modern world.
