Junior Phase (Years 5 and 6) – Belonging
In the Junior phase, students will develop a sense of belonging and make a strong connection with the College and its rich Franciscan community. This connection is fostered through strong friendships, what it means to be a Paduan and the opportunity to build relationships with staff and students through a rich academic and co-curricular program. The introduction of houses and development of spirit creates a pastoral foundation.
In the Junior Phase, students will develop a deep love of learning through an engaging curriculum aimed at educating boys. Consolidation of the foundational skills of literacy and numeracy is a priority and complimented by the development of competencies aimed at students becoming passionate and inquisitive in their learning. A collaborative and supportive learning environment enables students to become resilient learners who can articulate and evaluate their learning journey.
