Safety and Well-being of Students and Staff
We hold the safety and well-being of our students and staff as an unconditional commitment. All staff are required to complete the mandatory Child Protection training prior to commencing in a role at the College. All staff will have a current Queensland Teacher Registration or hold a working with children authority (Blue Card).
As deemed appropriate by the College, candidates may be subject to referee checks, identification verification and the requirement to disclose any information relevant to the candidate’s eligibility to engage in activities involving young people. Personal information provided in the course of applying for a position with the College will be treated in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act.
The terms and conditions of employment at the College for teachers and support staff come under the Catholic Employing Authorities Single Enterprise Collective Agreement – Religious Institute Schools of Queensland 2015-2019. As a requirement for employment, all staff will agree to our Statement of Principles for Employment and Code of Conduct.
