Classroom Teachers

The College is currently seeking collaborative, experienced and suitably qualified Classroom Teachers to be responsive to the diverse needs of learners in a contemporary Catholic School.  The roles are for a combination of any of the following subject areas.

Classroom Teacher Subject Combinations:

  • Mathematics – Years 7-12
  • Digital Solutions – Years 7-12
  • Psychology/Science – Years 7-12
  • HPE Years – 7-12.

Maternity Contract – 1 year 2021

  • Year 5/6.

In addition, the accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or the willingness to obtain such accreditation.  These positions are full time continuing or contract positions commencing in the 2021 school year.

It is expected that the successful applicant be suitably qualified and have:

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent
  • Current Queensland College of Teachers Registration
  • A commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school
  • Demonstrated ability to teach in subject areas listed
  • A commitment to extra-curricular activities
  • Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School or the willingness to obtain such accreditation
