The School competes in the AIC competition, with the major carnival being the AIC Swimming Championships held annually at Brisbane Aquatic Centre. Training is provided through our partnership with United Swim Club and continues all year round. Training times can be accessed on the Padua App and website. Boys will be placed in a squad based on an assessment by coaches.

Padua College Swimming operates year-round in our heated pool on campus, offering programs from learn to swim through to masters. Our AIC swimming team attends an annual camp prior to the start of school, competes at lead-up meets and the AIC Championship event during Term 1. They compete in individual and relay events, according to their ability. Our AIC swimming program exists within the broader club program of United Swimming Club, which gives students and non-student members the opportunity to train and compete at Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia meets throughout the year. Competitive swimming promotes physical development, perseverance and application to short, medium and long-term goals.
