Every two years, the senior Franciscan Colleges’ Instrumental Program (FCIP) ensembles undertake a music tour. Recent tours include Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and New Zealand.
Music camps are also an important feature and take place during the student free week at the end of Term 2.
As well as performing throughout the year at a number Brisbane music festivals and competitions, various FCIP ensembles are also invited to perform at private and public engagements.
These have included:
- Catholic Education Music Showcase
- Royal Children’s Hospital
- Royal National Exhibition, Brisbane (the EKKA)
- Music in the Mall
- Brisbane City Council and State Government events
- Local school ceremonies and fetes
