Congratulations to our College Chaplain, Father John Boyd-Boland ofm, on receiving a 2021 Spirit of Catholic Education Award. Recently celebrating his 80th birthday, this celebration highlights his incredible service to Padua College and the Franciscan Friars. This award acknowledges Fr John’s commitment to the College being most exemplified in his commitment to the students and staff of Padua. His presence in our Community shines a light on the daily example of what it means to live the College’s Franciscan values of peace, joy, humility, simplicity and courtesy. Fr John has committed over 30 years’ service to Catholic Education at Padua as College Rector, Teacher and Chaplain, along with over 50 years of service to the Franciscan Friars. Fr John Boyd-Boland is a true servant, and a very worthy recipient of this award.
