The Edwin Nally Cup
The ‘Nally Cup’ as it is affectionately known, is Padua College’s inter-house competition.
More than just a sporting competition, the Nally Cup allows boys from Years 5-12 to earn points for their House through academic achievement, pastoral involvement, community leadership, community service, social justice, participation in sport and all other forms of co-curricular activity.
While each House may earn points for the competition by winning the traditional swimming, cross county or athletics carnivals, the major focus of the House competition is participation and commitment. As a result of this, students can earn points for their house individually by committing to the College outside of the classroom through co-curricular activities.
Over the years, inter-house rivalry has grown and now the Nally Cup is fiercely contested each year by all six Houses.
